Great new opportunity available in the beautiful state of Alabama! As Quality Manager you will report direct to the Plant Manager with leadership in planning, coordinating, and directing the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate personnel. You will be responsible for making sure the employees perform their job assignments according to customer and company Policies and Procedures.
Major Responsibilities/Activities (List in order of importance the essential functions of the job):
Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant Quality Managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Directs and Supervises workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.
Investigates customer complaints and assist with the root cause and corrective action process.
Responsible for the Management of the ISO 9001:2008 program.
Reviews all prints and specifications for incoming jobs.
Must maintain a positive work relationship by acting and communicating in a manner that exemplifies Thomas & Betts Corporation's guiding principles so that an atmosphere of professionalism with fellow employees, management, customers and vendors is constantly present.
Basic Qualifications (Include education, experience, special skills and licenses or certifications required):
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred
Qualifications:
Previous work experience in this field or similar steel construction.

Company offers full relocation package, health benefits and competitive base salary.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
