We are looking for someone with solid Medical Insurance Collections
experience including some management.
Works with Operations manager to oversee the daily operations and training of the
Insurance Collection department, maintaining quality assurance, ensuring all clients'
goal return percentages are met. Manages a staff of medical collectors & team leads.
Ideal candidate will have come up through the collection agency ranks, knows how
to collect & how to close. 10 plus year's collections experience required. Medical
Insurance Collections experience is needed.
Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
Candidate must have a strong work ethic and a strong desire to achieve
individual and team goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has supervisory responsibilities of Medical Insurance collection.
Certificates / Registrations & Education:
- Completion of the FDCPA and HIPAA Standards exams
- High school diploma or general education degree required
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- Must demonstrate proficiency in personal computers, MS Office Word & Excel.
- 1- 0 years of past experience managerial experience required and knowledge of the
collection industry required, hospital insurance collections is needed.
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws and guidelines preferred; Knowledge o FDCPA & FCRA
laws required.
Bottom line :
1. 5+ years of Collections Industry experience including Medical Insurance Collections.
2. Knowledge of HIPAA laws and guidelines, Knowledge of FDCPA & FCRA laws.
3. Completion of the FDCPA and HIPAA Standards exams.
4. Managerial experience in Collections.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
