We are currently seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for our Utilities Structures plant in Gadsden, AL.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our utility structures production equipment.
This role offers ample opportunities to apply your technical skills across a diverse range of maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production equipment to enhance its reliability and longevity.
Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring comprehensive documentation of all performed tasks.
Follow established safety rules and practices to create a secure working environment.
Actively engage in safety committees or initiatives, contributing your insights to promote and enhance workplace safety.
Undertake various duties as assigned, showcasing your flexibility and readiness to contribute to different aspects of maintenance.
Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in maintenance roles.
Knowledge of Diesel/LPG Engines, Mobile Equipment Hydraulics, and Electrical Systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to LPG engines, including scan tools, pressure gauges, and other testing devices.
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical practices.
Ability to utilize electronic test equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
Good attendance record, highlighting your commitment to reliability and consistent performance.
Compensation The compensation for this role is $28 - $30/HR.
