Description Inteva Engineering & Quality Interns get the chance to learn about Engineerings's role in supporting a manufacturing company, gain hands-on experience, and work on meaningful projects that make an impact.
The intern in this role will work with the Engineering team out of Inteva's Manufacturing Plant in Gadsden, AL.
Inteva's Summer 2024 Intern Program includes more than your day-to-day work.
Your experience will include supplemental learning and development opportunities, such as executive lunch-and-learns and professional workshops.
You will support Inteva's core value of caring for the world and our communities with group volunteering opportunities throughout the summer.
Most importantly, you will have fun, learn, and grow as part of a cohort of summer interns.
This is a full-time internship position during the summer (May 2024-August 2024).
What will you get to work on? Perform entry level quality engineering assignments Support Product Quality Process (integrating PFD, PFMEA and control plans for all customers to Plex UX.
The goal is to use one standardize format for all 3 documents) Assist Manufacturing through Engineering support Experience with data collection and analysis PM's for spare parts Process development for new customer program launch Collaborate with operators, trainers, and engineers to solidify concise process instructions Improve productivity by performing ergonomic evaluations, time studies, simulation, and line balancing Process documentation and work instructions Optimize assembly flow and process to minimize people per machine per day Specific project(s) focused on during an internship are dependent on team needs and student interests and will be further discussed during interviews Position Requirements REQUIRED:
Willing to report to Gadsden, AL plant for regular work hours, Monday - Friday during your College Summer Break 2024 Sophomore - Senior student working towards a Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering degree (or a similar field of study) Excellent computer skills (ie.
Excel) Good customer communication skills.
Self-motivated and ability to work in a team environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Interpersonal Integrity Problem Solving Initiative Decision Making Customer Focus Oral Communication Written Communication PREFERRED:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
